Sue Yang is a widely-traveled photographer who has had her wedding work featured in magazines such as Inside Weddings, New York Bride Magazine, Hola! and People. Her musical portraits have been featured on the covers of Pianist Magazine, Strad Magazine in the UK, Archi in Italy, several Grammy-nominated albums, Der Spiegel, and concert programs in many of the preeminent orchestras around the world.

A graduate of Duke University and Columbia University, Sue is pursuing her love of photography and music, leaving behind a well-published career in medical research.

As a photographer, Sue has the technical mind of a scientist and the heart of a musician. She has a careful eye for light and a sense for the dramatic. Capturing timing and movement is her specialty- Her favorite captures are usually transitory and candid moments. Ever-searching, Sue especially enjoys the science and art behind developing and printing her own film photography. She is also an active freelance violinist who has performed as a soloist with orchestra and in ensembles, in storied venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center in New York City.

Sue lives in New York City and New Haven, CT. She travels for photographic work and with her husband, who is a musician. In her spare time, she enjoys an abundance of hobbies including drawing and painting, knitting and crochet, and board games, and true crime documentaries.
